In conjunction with SFMOMA’s (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) Photography in Mexico exhibition, Sonoma County Museum welcomes Patricia Albers who will discuss the turbulent life and ground-breaking photography of Italian-born photographer and activist Tina Modotti.

Patricia Albers is the author of Shadows, Fire, Snow: The Life of Tina Modotti (Clarkson Potter/ University of California Press), selected by the Library Journal as a Best Book of 1999.
