Hundreds of North Americans have traveled to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, to attend the 6-day seminars on Mexican cuisine that master cooking teacher Hugh Carpenter runs with his wife, acclaimed photographer Teri Sandison.

Their latest book, Mexican Flavors (Andrews McMell Publishing), includes easy-to-prepare recipes illuminating the techniques, the history and the unique flavors of Mexican cuisine brought to life with stunning food photographs.
