St. Francis Winery & Vineyards continues the 2015 Sonoma Tastemakers series this June with TWG Barbeque Company, a family owned and operated company that produces award-winning BBQ sauce using the best all natural and freshest ingredients. Each month, St. Francis hosts a different Sonoma County partner in its beautiful Mission-style Tasting Room to share artisan products and stories—and educate visitors on the art of pairing wine and food. Featured artisan wines are paired with the products to complete a unique tasting experience. The events are scheduled from 1-3 p.m. and are free to the public. 

TWG Barbeque Company – June 27, 2015: TWG BBQ Company is named after Thomas William George, who created the famous barbeque sauce recipe in his father’s grocery store in Kansas during the 1950’s. Today, the family continues the tradition in Sonoma County, producing award-winning, gourmet sauces in small batches.
