California and Texas Blues all-stars meet up on the Firehouse Arts Center stage for a big cross-country blues blowout concert. Headliners: representing California are Mark Hummel (harp-blower, vocalist, bandleader and Grammy nominee), Little Charlie Baty (ex-Nightcats bandleader and guitar hero), RW Grigsby (bassist) — and the Texas bluesmen are Anson Funderburgh (guitarist and Rockets bandleader) and Wes Starr (famed Austin drummer who has played with a who’s who of Texas music royalty). Ring-leader Mark Hummel is Winner Best Album and Best Traditional Album 2014 Blues Music Awards; 2014 Grammy Nominated for Best Blues Album.
