It may be our southern roots showing, but here at Presqu’ile we love barbecue, which is why we are hosting our first annual Presqu’ile Tri-Tip Cook-Off. The afternoon will feature a stellar lineup of ten top local culinary talents, including Chef Nick Barainca of Guai Lo restaurant, the Auten Boys, Testa Catering, BBQ in the Stix, Chef Rick, Far Western Tavern and more. Manning the grills in our beautiful al fresco setting, each will prepare their own inspired take on tri-tip for our guests and a panel of distinguished culinary judges, including Wendy Thies Sell, Kathy Marcks Hardesty and Gabe Saglie, as well as our winemaker, Dieter Cronje. There will be cash prizes for the winner and runner-up, and a special “People’s Choice” award voted on by our guests.
