The Sonoma County Fair is the Northbay’s largest summer event with more than 300,000 in attendance for 15 days of family fun, July 24 – August 9 (closed Mondays). Wine Country Horse Racing returns to the Fair July 30 – August 2 & August 6 – August 9; PLUS a bonus week of racing after Fair, August 14-16. Other highlights include headline entertainment, carnival rides and games, PRCA Rodeo, Destruction Derby, Monster Trucks, family activities, livestock shows and so much more. The Hall of Flowers theme for 2015 is “Barnyard Blossoms,” and the Fair’s 2015 theme is “Down on the Farm”.
