Napa Valley’s premiere Ballet Folklorico dance company, Ballet Zempoalxochitl will perform for the first time at the Jarvis Conservatory on May 10th, 2014. Director Pete Peralez produces and choreographs these dances in costumes that reflect the traditional culture of Mexico.

Bailes de mi Tierra (Dances of My Country) will be accompanied by live mariachi music. The Ballet Zempoalxochitl dancers will perform unique and stylized choreography that is representative of the Vera Cruz and Jalisco regions of Mexico.
