The Flyway Festival is a time of celebration and jubilation as we come together to share our passion for Bay Area wildness and wilderness. This year, our Festival will kick off the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act. Join our partners at the U.S. Forest Service as they offer us some special opportunities during the Festival to highlight this important milestone.

The festival will take place Feb. 7th-9th, centered in Building 223, 500 Connolly St. on Mare Island, with guided bird outings offered in American Canyon. California Department of Fish and Wildlife biologists will join tours on Feb. 8 and 9 of the former Cargill salt plant wetland restoration along the Napa River.

Festival-goers may choose from dozens of activities, including a Family Wildlife Exploration and Birding Expo with more than 75 exhibitors, guided nature walks including outings suitable for beginning birders including all ages and families, birding and wild bird demonstrations, and art and photography exhibits.

Some events require pre-registration. For more information and directions, call 707-249-9633 or 425-279-3502 or visit sfbayflywayfestival.com.
