We invite all gastronomes to join for an epicurean extravaganza during the Flavor! Napa Valley Weekend! With freshly-baked croissants and glass in hand, take a tour of our estate vineyard and glean insight into the intricacies of how managing terroir, nurturing vines and the process by which fruit is harvested makes the difference between good and great wines. Moving into the cellar with our enologist, you will soak up aromas and observe the complexities that fermentation chemistry plays in converting juice to nectar. Before you start sampling barrels our Fromagerie will lay out a spread for lunch and inform you on essential chemistry and the art of wine and food pairing. After lunch we will break into teams and the wine makers will then take over to help you concoct your own Red Blend to be judged, scored and awarded. Besides great memories and a deep appreciation of a day in the life of a gourmand you will go away with a bottle of your own blend and bragging rights that will turn your connoisseur friends green.
