In 1999, Vintner Barry Waitte turned his passion into reality when he founded Tamber Bey Vineyards with the acquisition of vineyards in Yountville and the renowned Oakville appellation. These initial steps marked This marked Waitte’s entry into the wine business as a grower and he began making wine in 2001. Fast forward to today, Tamber Bey Vineyards, nestled in the picturesque Sundance Ranch in Calistoga, delights wine enthusiasts with an exquisite selection of 15 Burgundy- and Bordeaux-style wines. More than just a winery, Sundance Ranch is a top-tier equestrian facility, a sanctuary for the Waittes’ beloved horses, and the heart of Sunrise Horse Rescue, blending the art of winemaking with a deep love for equine.
